Hi Everybody! I've just bin to Spain, it was wonderful! But the bad thing was I fell off my horse called lovely for the very first time. I'd never fallen off before!!!! And I've really hurt my left arm. I've got bruises all down my arm and it really hurts. Hope you have a great Easter!!

May we offer our congratulation to one of your students Miss Freya Nicholson, for achieving the momentous task of doing two of the three peaks in aid of Red Nose Day. Although not many sponsors were forthcoming, the task of walking that distance over that type of terain for an eleven year old was remarkable, the school should be proud, well done.

Hello Follifoot!

My names David England and I left Follifoot school in 2000. My brother Mike left in 1998 and my sister Helen left in 2003. All a long time ago now! I dont know if there are any teachers around that will remember me but I thought I'd say hello anyway! Hope everything's going well and that you are continuing to be as great a school as I remember!

Hello all, can't believe we av been in Spain for 24 days and have 17 left!!!!! 34 degrees today and 38 the other day!! I have asked rachel and chloe if they would like to go to school in spain again? and the answer is deffinately NO!!!!!! I
would like to thank all the members of follifoot for making my 2 girls very happy and making it very easy to settle into not only school, but England., Thank very much.

EDITOR; You have all fitted in brilliantly!! Girls have made lots of friends and mum and dad willing 'volunteers' in school! C u soon.

Well done to ALL our star performers in Oliver and Hansel & Gretel! Everyone turned in fantastic performances! Even the judges on 'I'll do anything' would have chosen our Nancy and Oliver!!

The residential was fantastic!!!

You all seem to have had a great time on your residential - and not a Pencil Museum in sight! I love the picture of the olympic skier - what concentration! The shop has been very quiet without you all...

hiyya i love your web site i miss primary school i went to spofforth c of e primary school and it was realy good because at primary school you learn to read if you dont learn to read you cant cope at high school ok little kids in reception and up...do your best at school and then you can have a realy good job when you are older and make LOADS of money dont be bad be good...

Having had 3 children attend follifoot school ( 2 currently) I have realised that the sound ground work put in by the staff has lead to all three being friendly chatty and lovingly outgoing and never once complaining about attending school each day. I feel that when they are at school they are happy and contented and they seem to relish the challenges put in front of them whilst in your care. A HUGE thanks to ALL the staff for helping my children Paige Jordan and Chloe to have the BEST start in life by attending Follifoot school. They are looking forward to the new term ( especially Chloe as she starts swimming! Oh and Jordan says yes aswell to football netball and cricket) See you all soon.********************************************************

Class 1 will be having a transport theme across the curriculum next term. eg. Science using forces with cars and ramps, train station and Space rocket role play,vehicular DT and loads more. If you can help with resources, contacts or ideas please see Mrs Youngson. eg. racing dirver/mechanic fancy dress, transport toys etc.

I attended Follifoot school between 1947 and 1953 and it looks like its almost the same. I had two wonderful teachers Mrs Townsend and Miss Breirs. Mrs Townsend was to affect my life forever. Its a wonderful school with wonderful memories. I still remember the birds taking the tops off the milk and drinking it, thats if we didn't get it inside quickly. We read stories in front of a coal fire and here, my first introduction to Breir Rabbit. I hope you enjoy this school as much as I did. Now I live in Canada but Follifoot still has a little piece of my heart. Good luck to you all in whatever you want to do - if you think you cannot do something stretch a little harder. You can move mountains when you gain knowledge.

Hello, just wanted to say how much we are enjoying school, and loved the Follifoot factor - well done to the great performers we thought you were extremely brave!

WELL DONE!!!!! to the follifoot factor organisers, and what a fantastic effort done by all the singers, VERY BRAVE... made a lot of parents and teachers very very proud. maybe ask simon cowell to come along next time, he! he!.

Connor (year 5 ) & Lauren (year 2) are both really looking forward to joining Follifoot after the half term.

We are having a get together the last Friday of the holidays at the playground on Wetherby Road, behind Nippers Nursery at 4pm. All ages welcome whether you want to play in the park, join in the rounders or sit on the grass for a natter! Option of MCDonalds for tea after the match!! Pass the message on and come and join in the fun!! Hope you can come.

The Follifoot School website is 100% fabulous! I like the games because they are very good fun and the ladybird game is the best.

As a former member of staff - oh ok - trainee teacher - its great to look over the website and see how everything is going! Great pictures bring back good memories of my time spent with staff and children at the school.
